Actress Yvonne Okoro’s performance in her movie, ‘The Contract’, directed by Shirley Frimpong Manso, has got a thumps up from movie audience at the just ended internationally acclaimed ReelWorld Film Festival.
According to reports from Canada, the audience loved the movie, as well as Yvonne’s performance, and hope to see it at the festival in the coming years.
ReelWorld Film festival ended yesterday Sunday April 14 after it opened on Wednesday April 10 with the screening of ‘The Contract’.
Yvonne Okoro was supposed to attend the ceremony but she couldn’t make it for reasons yet to be explained.
“We really did miss Yvonne but please note that the audience loved the film and really took to Yvonne’s performance,” a source close to the festival said.
The film is expected to cause a stir this weekend at the 2013 Africa Movie Academy Awards in Nigeria’s Bayelsa State.
The film had six nominations and fingers are crossed for it to make Ghana’s entertainment proud.
Meanwhile on Friday, Yvonne & Roseline Okoro stepped out in their usual colours when they supported Sandra Ankobiah at her party after she was called to the Ghana bar.
The party was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.
