Marriage is nonsense to me-Mzbel
At the age of 36 one would think that every woman of African descent would be keen on settling down to build a home of her own.
But for controversial Ghanaian musician Belinda Nana Akua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel this does not seem case.
Speaking on her plans in terms of marriage, Mzbel who recently had a son, an occurrence which raised a lot of controversy termed the whole process of Marriage as “nonsense” and went further to state that it is not something she is currently considering.
According to her “I don’t think it’s necessary to go somewhere and swear that you own someone forever, it seems boring. If we love each other and we feel we want to spend the rest of our lives together we don’t have to go and swear somewhere but rather just do it and have fun. It’s nonsense. If I love you and you love me lets be together and when we are tired of each other we go our separate ways”.
However in a more optimistic manner she went on to say that even though Marriage is not part of her current plans there is a possibility that she might in the future meet someone who would make her see things from a different perspective.
Mzbel has since her debut into the Ghanaian music industry being faced with an array of controversies ranging from her level of bodily exposure in the past, her views on certain religious issues and the birth of her son.
