Sarkodie sacrificed a big engagement for ‘No kissing baby’ video shoot – Patoranking
Anyone who studied some form of basic economics knows about the term ‘opportunity cost.’
This term can be simply explained as the loss one makes when he/she decides to make a choice over another.
It looks like Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, decided that he was okay with whatever the opportunity cost was after he decided to choose the video shoot of his collaboration with Nigerian, Patoranking, over a big engagement that he had.
Patoranking made this revelation when he spoke to YFM’s Brown Berry in an interview.
“Sarkodie is someone I respect I respect and my respect for him grew after the collaboration. I remember we were supposed to shoot the video but it was postponed. I wanted to shoot the video in London and he said whatever I wanted to do, I should just let him know. So the day we were to shoot the video, he had a big engagement and had a money meeting and he even showed it to me on his phone and said, don’t worry, let’s go shoot your video and I will handle this later.”
According to Patoranking, it was Jupitar who linked him up with Sarkodie.
Big up to the ETF general, Jupitar is a real brother. He made the whole link up happen. I told him I needed Sark on the vibe and he said Sark was a fan as well and so he was going to call him up. Jupitar called and said that Pato wanted to feature him and he sent his email and number and I sent the beat.”
Patoranking is currently in Ghana promoting his new single, ‘God Over Everything.’ The song was produced by DJ Breezy and Ball J.
