Arianna Grande and David Guetta sued for ‘stealing’ One Last Time
Arianna Grande and David Guetta are being sued by a songwriter who is claiming that they stole Grande’s 2014 hit ‘One Last Time’ from him.
The songwriter, Alex Griggs, claims that Skye Steven’s ‘Up All Night,’ which he [Griggs] wrote is the source material for ‘One Last Time.’
Stevens sent cease-and-desist letters to Grande and her label, Universal Music Group, but the letters were ignored. He is now suing Grande, Guetta and UMG for $150,000 per infringement, and want the label not to be able to make any further profit from the song.
This isn’t the first time that ‘One Last Time’ has faced controversy. The song’s video was said to have recreated scenes from clip that was created by Australian band SAFIA.
