WhatsApp founder sells $203 million in Facebook stocks
The founder of WhatsApp, Jan Koum, has sold $203 million in Facebook.
According to Business Insider, he has been unloading Facebook stock at a steady clip under a prescheduled trading plan.
Jan Kuom has reportedly sold more than 22 million shares, which is worth roughly $2.8 billion, since January.
At the end of 2015, he owned over 60 million shares of common stock and another 19 million restricted stock units (RSUs).
Kuom’s stock sales come as WhatsApp grows rapidly and as the company continues to make changes that moneymaking opportunities.
