Apple unveils latest MacBook Pro
Four years after Apple released a MacBook, it has finally unveiled the MacBook Pro.
The unveiling was done by TimCook at an event at Apple’s office in Cupertino.
Apple has brought a new feature to the MacBook Pro: the Touch Bar. It is a mini Retina display that replaces the function keys.
The Touch Bar is a mulitouch screen that uses gestures and taps for different tasks based on what the user is doing.
You can view the Function keys on the Touch Bar when you hold down the function button that is provided.
The MacBook doesn’t have Siri already built-in. There’s rather a button that will take the user to the AI assistant.
According to Apple, this is the thinnest version of the Pro to date. It also has Intel Core i5 and i7 chips that are cooled by a new thermal architecture that promises to be quieter and lessen system overheating.
The 13-inch, which has the standard function key, is priced at $1,499, while the version with the Touch Bar goes for $1,799.
The 15-inch version goes for $2,399.
