Shatta Wale calls for peaceful elections
The leader of the Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale, has called for peace as we head into the 2016 general elections.
Charles Nii Armah, as he is called, performed at the Saminifest last night, after which he posted on social media to thank Samini and the High Grade Family.
“Thanks to Samini and High Grade Family ONE LOVE ONE GHANA #ShattaSamini Peace we pree,” his Facebook post said.
The beef between Shatta Wale and Samini, which had been going on for a long time, ended on Shatta’s birthday after Samini wished him [Shatta Wale] a happy birthday.
Shatta has since then moved on to release a song calling for peace between the supporters of the governing National Democratic Congress [NDC] and the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP].
