Galaxy Note 7 explosions reportedly caused by ‘irregularly sized’ batteries
A Wall Street Journal report indicates that the explosion of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices was caused by wrongly sized batteries.
According to the Journal report, “people familiar with the matter” claim that the investigations fond some devices were prone to overheating because they contained irregularly sized batteries.
These batteries did not fit well into the phones.
Samsung will organise a press conference next week to announce its findings after it conducted an investigation into the cause of the explosion of Galaxy Note 7 devices.
The reports that Samsung customers gave concerning the Note 7 and its recall gravely affected the Korean company’s earnings and the credibility of its brand among customers.
