Roverman Productions ends re-run in grand style
The Roverman family, last Sunday, February 5 brought an end to the re-run of three shows selected from their festival of plays.
Lovers of theatre and stage performance were, during the Christmas and New Year break, treated to an awesome experience at the National Theatre in Accra.
The acts which included “WOMEN ON FIRE”, “DEAR GOD COMMA” and “REJECTED” was well attended.
It was a time for families who were occupied during the festive season to enjoy a story well told by playwright Uncle Ebo Whyte.
The National Theater rang with laughter, as act after act, the audience were taken through daily market life from WOMEN ON FIRE, to private homes from DEAR GOD COMMA and relationship and marriage in REJECTED.
It was attended by some dignitaries including former President John Dramani Mahama, his daughter Farida Mahama and the Minister Designate for Tourism, Arts and Culture Catherine Afeku.
