Shatta Wale hits back at Mark Okraku Mantey for saying his music will die soon
Ghanaian dancehall act Shatta Wale has attacked Mark Okraku Mantey for calling allegedly saying that his music doesn’t stay a hit for more than 6 months.
Mark Okraku Mantey reportedly said this at a focus group discussion for rapper Edem’s new album, “Books n Rhymes.’
“…You sustain your career and make money from it after 20 years. That is an artiste, not people who get hits for 6 months, like Shatta. His music, mark it on the wall, cannot stand the test of time,” Okraku said.
Shatta Wale responded to this and said that Mark Okraku Mantey is not the one who will determine what fits in the box.
“Mark Okraku Mantey should spare us the nonsense – he wouldn’t be the one to determine what fits in the box,…” Shatta Wale said oh his Facebook page.
He also a live Facebook broadcast where he attacked Okraku Mantey and addressed some other issues.
