Sarkodie is not deep, he can’t reply my diss song – Quata
Ghanaian rapper Quata Budukusu says that Sarkodie hasn’t replied his [Quata] diss song because he [Sarkodie] is not ‘deep.’
“It’s simple, beef is a lyrical warfare with your armour being your intellect. Your opponent needs to know more than you logically to murder you and Sarkodie doesn’t have that deep mind. It’s a knockout, there’s no way he can reply. He’s already been murdered,” Quata is reported to have told citifmonline.com.
He, however, said that the music he does is not because he wants money, and that he does music because he wants to please his fans.
“I don’t do music for the wealth, it comes with it. I do music to seal the void in you that yearns for rhythmic satisfaction. If I can make one satisfied by listening to my music, then the talent God put in me has been of great use.”
Quata has done collaborations with some African artistes like Mafikizolo, Uhuru and Busisiw in South Africa. His single is featured on the ‘Coast to Coast’ mixtape, which also features Nas, Lupe Fiasco, and other stars.
