MUSIGA offices to be relocated
The offices of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) will be relocated to make way for the Marine Drive Project in the coming weeks.
The Chief Director of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Nana Bright Oduro, said this during an interaction with the leadership of the Union.
Nana Oduro stated that all offices that are within the area that has been earmarked for the project will have to be relocated.
The president of MUSIGA, Bice Osei Kuffour, expressed his union’s joy in the commencement of the project that he described as long overdue. He advocated for adequate working space for MUSIGA when the project is done.
The Marine Drive Project is designed to help the beach, from the Christianborg Castle in Osu to the Baden Powell Memorial Hall. The infrastructure in this area will have to be destroyed for this project.
