Jay Zs 4:44 illegaly downloaded nearly 1 million times in 3 days
When Jay Z’s 4:44 was released, it was reported that for one week, the album would be exclusive to Tidal.
Three days after its release, it was reported that the album was illegally downloaded 971,196 times.
MUSO has reported that 56% of these downloads took place in the USA, with the UK following with 5%.
One thing that is being reported is that Snoop Dogg also got the album illegally after he confessed that he was left bemused by the TIDAL exclusivity and so a friend ‘bootlegged’ it for him.
