Paapa Yankson’s son asks for state burial for the legend
The first son of the late Paapa Yankson has asked government to give his father a state burial.
The 73-year-old highlife music legend passed away on July 21, 2017, at his Dansoman residence in Accra, Ghana.
His son, Silas Yankson, said in an interview, “My father saved the highlife music of Ghana, he took the genre to places around the world and I will call on the government to give him a state burial.
